In the fall of 2014, I was thrilled to be part of a symposium called "'Roos Who Write" at my Texas undergraduate alma mater, Austin College. (The kangaroo is the school's mascot; hence the title!) I also received the "Distinguished Alumni" award from the school at the same time. This is a link to an interview I did then—called "A Theater Major's Journey to the Newsroom."
